SENIOR WOMEN
Thames FC Senior Women have built a strong programme and a proud recent record, winning Division 2 in 2025 and backing it up with the Division 1 title in 2026. That back-to-back success has earned promotion into the W-League competition for 2027.
2026 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
Across all three senior teams, 2026 delivered strong league campaigns, memorable cup ties, derby wins and another championship for Thames FC.
The Men’s Firsts spent much of the season in the fight near the top of the table, collecting key wins and staying in the promotion conversation deep into the campaign.
The Reserves produced some of the season’s most entertaining results, including derby success, and finished agonisingly close to promotion.
The Women followed their 2025 Division 2 title by winning Division 1 in 2026, earning promotion into the W-League for 2027.
THE SENIOR SEASON
Our Senior teams train on weeknights under lights at Rhodes Park. Training days are confirmed at the beginning of each year, with pre-season usually starting in late January. The WaiBOP season begins in early April and runs through to around mid-September.
Both the Men’s and Women’s teams compete in WaiBOP league competitions and the seasonal knockout cups.
All three current senior teams competed at a strong competitive level this season.
We’re looking to grow a second Women’s side with a more social focus alongside the W-League pathway.
